In lieu of the carrier furnished containers, shippers may offer cargo for ocean transportation in shipper furnished containers subject to the following provisions: -
A. The container must be of body and frame construction acceptable to the carrier and must be manufactured and equipped in accordance with all applicable United States, other local National and International Laws, Regulations and Safety requirements.
B. Shipper furnished containers will be subject to inspection, approval and acceptance for carriage on the carriers vessel prior to loading the carrier s authorized personnel. Any containers found to be unsuitable will not be accepted for carriage.
C. Each such container and its cargo will be subject to all rules and regulations of this tariff.
D. Shipper will be required by the carrier to submit documentary evidence of ownership or lease holdership of the container offered for shipment.
E. Underlying carrier SOC charge will apply per the agreed upon NRA
